The theme for 2018 is "50th Golden Anniversary\," a celebration of running the Pioneer Days Parade for 50 years!\n\n\nEarly Bird Discount - before July 7th.\n\nSteinbach Chamber Members: Free\n\nNon-Members: $20.00 + GST\n\n\n\nAfter July 7th:\n\nSteinbach Chamber Members: $20 + GST\n\nNon-Members: $50 + GST\n\n\n\nDay-of Entries\n\n$100 registration fee\, cash only\n\n\n\nEntry Deadline: Monday\, July 23\, 2018\n\n\n\nEntries will be judged prior to the parade and winners will be selected in the following categories:\n\n\n\nHistorical - "Show us the history / progression of your organization"\n\nAntique - "A blast from the past. Wow us with your unique\, ageing treasures"\n\nAnimal Entry - "Horses\, dogs or anything in between! Show us your connection to animals!"\n\nTheme - "50th Golden Anniversary"\n\nJudges Choice - "Get creative and wow the crowd!"\n\n\n\nSteinbach Chamber of Commerce assigns your position along the parade route.\n\n\n\nParade Safety Rules:\n\n\n Marshalling information including your parade entry number will be available after July 31st at www.steinbachchamber.com. You may also obtain your entry number from the Parade Marshall on Friday morning upon arrival. Parade starts at 10am sharp! \n Please refrain from throwing anything from your float or vehicle. We ask that any items being distributed are thrown by walkers only and thrown over the barricade tape. The public should remain behind the marked barricade tape at all times.\n Please use caution while proceeding to your marker. Your extra caution could prevent an accident. \n Children should be supervised at all times.\n Once the parade begins moving\, please remain on your float or trailer. Participants may exit for emergencies or health related issues only.\n All float leaders or drivers are responsible for anyone riding on their float or trailer and any injuries that may result.\n Each entry is responsible for ensuring their entry maintains the pace with the rest of the parade. Large gaps may indicate to the spectators the parade has ended which poses a safety issue. \n Stopping along parade route is prohibited. \n There is a 75 foot maximum length and 10 foot maximum width per registered entrant.\n If the entry has large equipment with dual or triple wheels or wide tracks\, two spotters must be walking in front of the unit at each corner. \n LOCATION:Marshalling begins at Lyndhurst and Hespeler. The parade will lead off at the Steinbach Fire Hall at the East end of Main Street\, the parade will proceed West down Main Street\, and North down Brandt Street (Hwy 12N)\, ending at Stone Bridge Crossing.
