This event is targeted towards our local entrepreneurs, managers and leaders who are interested in tapping into the wealth of local experience from seasoned business leaders from our community. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions of these local experienced business owners at a moderated event. Hear how they have weathered the difficult times, and maximized the good times for growth.

LYNDON FRIESEN - PAST PRESIDENT, GOLDEN WEST BROADCASTING
PAST PRESIDENT, STEINBACH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Lyndon Friesen is a dedicated business leader with a 45-year career in the radio industry. Primarily based in Steinbach, with professional stints in Toronto and Calgary, Lyndon played a crucial role in expanding our radio business to over 45 stations and nearly 20 community portals, including the well known SteinbachOnline. Our commitment to serving small communities across the prairies was matched by his volunteer work as a Steinbach firefighter and as a two-term President of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce. Lyndon also contributed on various regional and national media boards, earning national recognition for our efforts. After retiring in 2021, Lyndon and his wife Bonnie remain in Steinbach, enjoying their time traveling and spending summers at their cottage.

SARAH BEAVER, CPA, CGA - GISLASON TARGOWNIK PETERS CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS, LLP ("GTP")

Sarah Loewen Beaver was born and raised in Steinbach and has been in the accounting industry since 2002. She became a CGA in 2007 and won the Professional Level Award of Excellence for top marks upon graduation. Prior to getting her designation, Sarah worked for her family’s business for many years and enjoys being able to relate to her clients as they discuss their challenges and successes. Sarah is the managing partner of the Steinbach location of Gislason Targownik Peters Chartered Professional Accountants, LLP. Her career has focused on owner-managed businesses, agriculture and agri-related businesses and construction. Being involved in and contributing to Steinbach and the surrounding communities is an important part of Sarah’s life. She has retired from volunteering with the family’s chauffeur organization as the teenagers are now old enough to drive themselves. Sarah volunteers her time with CPA Manitoba Appeals Committee and with the Steinbach Community Foundation Inc. to support the region’s medical, educational, cultural and community organizations through gifts and grants. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, baking, reading and fishing with her husband Andy and their big standard poodle Yadi.  




DR. TERRY KEHLER, D.C. – STEINBACH CHIROPRACTIC HEALTH & WELLNESS CLINIC

Dr. Terry Kehler has been in practice serving Southeastern Manitoba for 30+ years. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1991. His family practice oversees a wide age range of patients — from infants to seniors. He has been a chiropractor at the 1996 Canada Games and the 1999 Pan American Games. Dr. Kehler has treated patients at an elite level including Olympic athletes from Olympic and National volleyball and softball teams and players from the NHL and IHL. Dr. Kehler has worked as the Chiropractor for the MJHL Champion Steinbach Pistons and local school teams as well. Dr. Kehler has also completed extensive training in Concussion Management and has the CCMI Accreditation. He has served on many boards in the community. Dr. Kehler has been involved in numerous sport seminars including  S.W.I.S.S and Titleist Performance Institute and has memberships in the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. The clinic also provides chiropractic treatment for work injuries (WCB), automobile injuries (MPI) and private insurance.





VINCE LOEPPKY - LOEPPKY AUTO SALES

Born and raised in the Steinbach area, Vince graduated from the SRSS in 2002 with a major in business and accounting. From there he started his career in automotive sales where he had the opportunity to work for several dealerships, learning the different styles of a wide range of managers. It wasn’t only his love for vehicles that had him excited for work every morning but the challenge of helping people find the perfect fit for them and their families. Almost 25 years later and thousands of vehicle sales, Vince and his brother Dustin have taken over the family dealership, Loeppky Auto Sales. He is married to Amy and they have two beautiful children, Emmy and Beau.
