Work can be stressful, and stress over time can impact both our physical and mental health. While there is a large body of knowledge about how to protect workers' physical safety, the psychological safety of workers is something most employers haven't considered.
The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety exists to protect the mental health and wellbeing of employees. It provides a number of key factors employers can consider when evaluating the health of their workplace, and outlines concrete action employers can take to make mental health at work a priority today.
This session will be facilitated by Jordan Friesen, M.O.T., O.T. Reg. (MB) Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association - Central Region
